1.) Get all your ingredients out!
2.) Throw them in a bowl.
3.) Mix ’em up. This part takes the longest because of how thick all the ingredients are, but the thicker the better right? You’ll just want to make sure that all the ingredients are mixed really well, otherwise you might get a bitter bite of plain yogurt.
4.) You’re done now! Here I’ve put it on a banana with some crushed cocoa nibs and peanuts. This can double as your decadent dessert and post workout snack.
5.) This also works well as a dip, or eating it by the spoonful:)
PB & Chocolate Power Spread (Total Time : 3 minutes, Serves: This recipe makes about 1.5 cups)
This stuff has a lot of pros. I often spend three minutes by sitting down and starting my homework, then deciding I’m not in the mood. Those three minutes would have been spent much better by making this spread. It’s chockfull of protein, plus cocoa powder is super good for you, and the fact that is has the texture of a thick frosting doesn’t hurt either! Topping a banana with this spread is my favorite way to go, but it’s also really good on apples, strawberries, and spoons.
Ingredients
2/3 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Peanut Butter
1/8 Cup + 1 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (I usually add a little more to get that extra dark chocolate flavor)
2 Tbsp Honey
Optional: Crushed Peanuts, Cocoa Nibs,
Directions (The easiest directions you will ever get)
1: Put your ingredients in a bowl.
2: Mix it up very thoroughly, until all the ingredients are completely combined!
3: Spread it on some fruit, or maybe just get a spoonful and put some whipped cream on it.
MMMuuummmm!!! I also use almond butter (crunchy) because of the added texture. Crunchy or creamy, all depends on your personality.
Yes that sounds delicious!
