Hi, I’m Jamie and this is my food blog! I’m a lover of the outdoors, fitness, running, and food. As someone with a huge sweet tooth, I realized that eating an ice cream sundae every night probably wasn’t going to help me do the things I love to the best of my ability. I started experimenting with cutting back on all the classic refined sweets and foods, and quickly figured out that it can taste just as good and make you feel a whole lot better. I try to make all my recipes packed with nutrients, and absent of most refined sugars. In addition, many of my recipes happen to be gluten free, dairy free, vegan, or all three. I don’t have any allergies, and I’m not a vegetarian, I just find that some of the most simple and delicious dishes end up this way. 

In addition to doing my best to make food full of nutrients, protein, and flavor, I also like to make my recipes simple and quick. I’m a busy student and free time isn’t something I get a lot of. It’s important for me to be able to whip up something healthy in under 20 minutes, or be able to take it with me on the go. Whatever I’m doing or wherever I’m going, I make sure that I don’t run hungry!
